Bird & Worm
The main purpose of this assignment was for the students to take a picture from a bird's eye perspective and a worms eye perspective. In other words this was a challenge for students to take a picture at an upward facing angle and a downward facing angle to simulate and birds eye and a worms eye. Bobby's personal favorite picture is "Worm 3". This photo is his favorite because of the color vibrancy and the reflection of the sky on the car. His approach to these photos was to simulate the perspective of an actual bird or worm. For example, in the photo "Bird 2" the perspective would be that of a bird swooping down over the river looking for insects over the river to eat. Another aspect of this project is incorporating the rule of thirds. We needed to use this rule because if we didn't most of the students would take photos with the main focus of the photo would be in the center.
